Kilpeck (Herefordshire)

The famous figure on corbel-table of the beautiful Romanesque church, which accompanies several other 'sinful' corbels,
including musicians and acrobats, lustful beasts (dog and hare) and a muzzled bear, presumably one forced to dance
for the amusement of the peasantry.

This figure has been copied at least once in subsequent centuries.

The vault of the chancel in the church has fine, feline rib-swallowers.
