This curious figure in St Peter's has for some reason been classed as male,
perhaps because of the lack of breasts and the weapons (?) it is wielding.
The object in the figure's left hand might be Thor's hammer,
and the object at the bottom might be an anvil...

...or equally a very degenerate and sketchy version of the Jaws of Hell
about to devour a hermaphrodite or self-castrator..
