Tara (Meath)
This figure is one of a group of 'hands-on-thighs' carvings which
are not actually exhibitionist, but suggestive.
There is another one at White
Island (Fermanagh).

Westropp's sketch from 1894.
On the other side of the island inside the church at Cross (Mayo)
there is a similar figure, in even worse state.

Originally found found at Cill Arsa or Killursagh church in
Ballymacgibbon North,
it was first recorded in 1847.
Removed from the church, it was built into a coach-house nearby, later suffering
considerable damage
before it was rediscovered in 2012.
