Aulnay-de-Saintonge (Charente-Maritime)

A fine example of a contortionist mouth-puller with tresses ending in monster-heads,
and more reptilian monsters issuing from its mouth. This capital is a condemnation of the 'unnatural' behaviour
associated with public entertainment - as are others in and on the same important and impressive Pilgrimage church.
